98.5 KYGO’s St. Jude Jam with Easton Corbin, Chancey Williams, Dillon Carmichael and Billy Brown was one for the books. The whole evening was to raise money for St. Jude (almost half a million) – we love a good cause!
First, Brett Young was supposed to headline but unfortunately, he got a concussion and wasn’t able to make it. Although I was disappointed he couldn’t make it, we are wishing him a quick recovery. That’s not to take away from the other artists, just stating my feelings.
When it comes to the show, each artist performed a full acoustic set. It’s always fun to see a stripped down version of songs, with just a guitar and the artists’ voice. There was also a dope stage set up with lit Christmas trees which made for some cool pics. Each artist brought their own pizazz for St. Jude Jam. Billy had a stripped down set vs. his full band and production. Dillon made it fun and light with his jokes and had an ode to Denver Women in his first song. Chancey brought a light and genuine energy. Finally, Easton brought the heat and crowd energy. Overall, it was a grand evening.
