Backstreet Boys @ Fiddlers Green Amphitheater

I literally have no words to describe what an absolute dream it was to be at this show. My 10 year old self, who grew up on Backstreet Boys, didn’t realize how much I needed this show. There is just something so joyful about the nostalgia of something good from your past reappearing, am i right?

As soon as they came out, my inner fangirl was ALERTED. I was almost too excited to remember I was there and had a job to do (take pics, duh). Literally just seeing them in the flesh, that close: WOW. I don’t even know how to describe the feeling.

After I was done with my picture duty, i found myself a seat in the crowd and plopped myself there for the rest of their 2 hour, 15 min set (the longest set I’ve ever seen from a headliner). BSB really came & brought the heat playing songs I didn’t even realize that I knew. Taking us back through the feelings & emotions of those early 2000s songs that us millennials all know and love.

There was laughter, coordinated boy band dancing (yes please), eye contact (hi Brian), AJ & Kevin throwing their underwear into the audience, insane vocals, production value x 100. Okay wait…..let’s go back to this underwear part. You heard that right. AJ & Kevin changed on stage (concealed from the crowd unfortunately) & threw their underwear to some lucky fans in the front row. It was their way to payback all the ladies who threw their bras on stage back in the day. I’d say that’s a fair trade.

I am experiencing some insaaaaaane PCD (fueled by some of the members liking my post on IG. WHAT?!).

Signing off, until next time AJ, Kevin, Howie, Brian, & Nick.
