Welcome to the one year anniversary episode! This week, Meg and Jess kick it off by discussing how the podcast came to be. They then go back into the vault and reflect on their favorite heartwarming moments, classic sayings, and guests throughout the past year (and drop a major bomb about where they stand now on a certain favorite artist). They also chat about some of the dream guests they’d like to join them on PCD and finish the episode off with a deep dive into Adele’s new album, 30. Thanks for all your support and remember folks, “be you and be great!”

On this episode, Meg and Jess recap some recent concerts they’ve been to (Brett Eldredge and Twenty One Pilots), talk about how they have a fantasy that they will be at a show and the artist will see them in the crowd and then they will fall in love (anyone else?), as well as the rumors of Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian shacking it up. A fun, lighthearted episode, but we also couldn’t put one out without addressing the tragedy at Astroworld Fest. Our thoughts and prayers with those families who lost someone.

Although they are guestless, Meg and Jess have splendid one on one time with each other. They relive recent concert recaps which include: The Jonas Brothers, Twenty One Pilots, Glass Animals, and Angels & Airwaves, Bad Suns and 1990nowhere. You’ll also hear them struggle through some zoom troubles and view setting issues (just wait for the YouTube vid to see what we’re talking about). Last but not least, they retell some nostalgic road tripping stories, including the time they were driving in BFE at 2:30 in the morning after a Timeflies show.

For today’s episode, Meg and Jess have one half of The Hirst Brothers (Podcast and Music), John Hirst. John reveals how they got into music and podcasting, revealing they do it all to support/give back to their younger brother who has a visual impairment. Meg and Jess also turn the tables on him, playing some of their favorites songs for him to rate on the “biscuit scale” [tune into The Hirst Brothers: New Music Review to see what that’s all about]. Struggle through this episode as there were many glitches, freezes and internet connectivity issues, but you know, what’s a little zoom trouble?
