Some people might know him as “The Lalala Guy,” others might recognize him as “Bibinos.” But on Sunday, May 4th, Canadian rapper bbno$ finally brought the It’s Pronounced Baby No Money World Tour to Cologne, Germany, setting the record straight once and for all. The combination of his versatile musical range, the energetic performance by opener Jungle Bobby, and a sold-out crowd at Live Music Hall made for an unforgettable night that left fans buzzing long after the show.
Jungle Bobby Sets the Tone: A High-Energy Opening Performance
Jungle Bobby, an up-and-coming artist from Vancouver, kicked off the evening with the perfect embodiment of a feel-good vibe. Dressed in a flowy, 70s-inspired outfit, he immediately connected with the audience, igniting the room with his infectious energy. His upbeat performance, full of energetic dance moves and engaging stage presence, encouraged the crowd to sing along, chant, and jump in sync with the music. It wasn’t just an opening act; it was a high-energy start to the night, setting the tone for what was to come.

bbno$ Takes the Stage: Surprises, Special Guests, and a High-Energy Performance
After a brief intermission, bbno$ took to the stage, opening his set with the hit track “It Boy,” which had the crowd roaring in excitement. To make things even more memorable, he invited German cosplayer, @bubblegumhd, to join him on stage, dressed in a full Hatsune Miku cosplay. This special moment was a nod to bbno$’s own cosplay as the popular manga character just a few months ago, a fun and personal touch that delighted fans. But that wasn’t the only surprise of the night. To fill in for Yung Gravy on their collaborative songs, bbno$ brought a fan up on stage, who did an incredible job delivering the performance. The audience went wild as they cheered on the fan, who was clearly living out a dream come true.
The surprises didn’t end there. bbno$ reunited with German YouTuber, Julien Bam, whom he had collaborated with on a video nearly three years ago. Their on-stage reunion was a heartwarming moment, reflecting the deep connections bbno$ has cultivated with fans and fellow creators over the years.
Throughout the show, bbno$ maintained an incredibly interactive and personal approach with the audience. He frequently spoke to the crowd, recognizing familiar faces from other tour stops and making fans feel like they were part of the experience. In one memorable moment, he gave away a cookbook containing traditional Cologne recipes, adding a unique and thoughtful touch to the night. The energy was palpable, with fans clearly enjoying the connection they shared with the artist.
The setlist itself was a perfect blend of hits, showcasing bbno$’s diverse musical style. From the undeniable anthem “Lalala” — which you’ve almost certainly heard by now — to more introspective and slower tracks like “Meant to Be,” the performance was dynamic and engaging. He also treated the audience to his latest release, “Boom,” which had the crowd singing along in full force. Each song felt like a journey, with bbno$ expertly navigating between lighthearted bangers and more vulnerable, emotionally charged moments.
While much of bbno$’s music carries a playful, lighthearted vibe, he never misses an opportunity to use his platform for important causes. He has consistently supported inclusivity and LGBTQIA+ rights, and his openness about mental health has resonated deeply with fans. Earlier this year, bbno$ released the song “Antidepressants,” a candid reflection on his own struggles with mental health, showing another side of the artist’s personality and message.

In Conclusion: A Night to Remember
By the end of the night, it was clear that this was more than just a concert — it was a celebration of community, music, and the shared joy between artist and audience. Jungle Bobby was an excellent opening act, setting the stage for bbno$’s stellar performance. bbno$ showcased his incredible range, from crowd-pleasing bangers to more emotional, introspective tracks. The atmosphere at Live Music Hall was electric, and the energy from both the artist and the crowd created a night to remember.
Overall, bbno$ and Jungle Bobby gave Cologne an unforgettable night of music, laughter, and connection. It was a perfect reminder that live music has the power to bring people together, and bbno$ proved once again why he’s one of the most exciting artists in today’s music scene.
