Ava Maybee

Ava Maybee is a 22 year-old singer songwriter from Los Angeles. Singing since before she could walk, Ava Maybee’s bold voice, strong melodies & authentic style led to a ton of charity concert gigs starting at the age of 7. Ava recently graduated The Clive Davis Institute at NYU/Tisch in May of 2023. Maybee also just finished touring with lovelytheband on a 15 city US tour and is currently working on her first EP. Committed to giving back, Ava Maybee is a junior ambassador for Childrens Hospital of LA.

NOT A TOY is both an alt-pop band and family-like collective. Born and raised in Colorado, Branson Hoog [vocals], Benji Spoliansky [drums], Jeremy Marmor [guitar], and TJ Wessell [keys, bass] all contribute to the group’s lyrics, production, instrumentation, and visual elements. Best friends since high school, they cut their teeth in the punk and emo scene playing gigs across the map. Soon forming NOT A TOY in 2020 and inking a deal with Fearless Records. Recently their song Nervous sparked an unexpected hot streak while teasing a short snippet on TikTok, not thinking anything of it at the time, the track has since become a fan favorite.

They released their full-length debut in July 2023 called ‘PRBLMS’. It isn’t just your typical debut album – it’s a raw and powerful journey with a whole lot of charm, born from deeply personal struggles. The early shapings of which began during a stint of particularly trying times for the band, unsure of the future of their careers – at times even considering calling it quits – the album grew to harness those growing pains and embolden them. PRBLMS took aim at capturing the essence of that tension, wielding it into creative fuel. With the group stating, “We were all at these different but similar crossroads in our lives, with so much uncertainty ahead, we decided to embrace those PRBLMS and make them into something beautiful.”

Spearheaded by A&R Mark Hoppus under new label Verswire with Pete Wentz and Sherry Saeedi, Beauty School Dropout’s sophomore album “We Made Plans & God Laughed” is a culmination of the most iconic influences of mainstream rock music.

Resurrecting heavy guitar tones, charging drums, and sticky pop melodies, all while still staying true to the relatable and timeless emotional lyrics we all love.
