Rising guitarist and songwriter Grace Bowers hosted her annual benefit concert, “We Gotta Live Together”, on Oct. 18. The event, the biggest yet, raised more than $30,000 to support two impactful organizations: Everytown, a nonprofit dedicated to ending gun violence, and MusiCares, an independent 501(c)(3) charity that provides critical support to artists and others in the music community.
Grace Bowers Showcases Collaboration and Connection
This year’s concert brought together an impressive lineup of Grace’s friends and collaborators, including Blu DeTiger, Devon Gilfillian, Michigander, and many more. Grace played throughout the entire show, with each guest artist joining her for one song on the setlist — creating a seamless, collaborative flow from start to finish.
The evening featured a dynamic mix of classic covers, fan favorites, and brand-new originals from Grace herself, all performed with the collaborative spirit the event is known for. The crowd buzzed with excitement as Grace took the stage, backed by her powerhouse band, delivering a memorable night of celebration for a good cause. The connection between the artists and the audience was palpable, turning the venue into a shared space of joy, unity, and purpose.

Grace Bowers Leads a Night Full of Surprises
The night unfolded with continuous surprises — from unexpected artist pairings to bold song choices. Blu DeTiger brought her signature groove and effortless stage presence to several performances, jamming along to any song she could. Flavor Flav jumped in mid-show to crank the energy even higher, getting everyone on their feet and clapping along.
Beyond the music, the atmosphere was electric — filled with vibrant energy, killer fashion, and a genuine sense of community.
