Mirador

Mirador is a dynamic rock band formed in 2024 by Jake Kiszka, renowned guitarist of Greta Van Fleet, and Chris Turpin, frontman of British duo Ida Mae. Their collaboration began during a 2019 tour when Ida Mae opened for Greta Van Fleet, leading to late-night jam sessions and a shared vision for a new musical project. Joined by Mikey Sorbello on drums and Nick Pini on bass and keyboards, Mirador was born from a mutual passion for rock ‘n’ roll, early folk, country blues, and folklore.

The band’s name, “Mirador,” was inspired by a misspelling of “Marauder” and reflects their shared passion for rock ‘n’ roll, early folk, country blues, and folklore. Their music blends these influences with elements of mysticism and storytelling.

Mirador released their self-titled debut album on September 19, 2025, produced by Grammy Award-winning Dave Cobb in Savannah, Georgia. The album features live-recorded tracks with raw energy and has been described as “sky-shaking and boundary-bursting rock ‘n’ roll.” Following the album’s release, Mirador embarked on a headlining tour across major U.S. cities and announced plans for a UK tour in November 2025, signaling a fast-growing presence on the international music scene.

With their blend of technical skill, stage presence, and genre-spanning influences, Mirador continues to make waves in modern rock. Their music is characterized by soaring guitar riffs, emotive vocals, and storytelling lyrics that explore themes of love, adventure, and introspection. Critics have praised the band for their ability to bridge the gap between classic rock influences and contemporary sounds, positioning them as one of the most exciting new acts in the genre.
