Neck Deep @ Mission Ballroom

Neck Deep rocked their show at Mission Ballroom on February 8, 2024 in Denver, CO. Support came from Higher Power, Bearings, and DRAIN, the crowd was left wanting more.


Higher Power

Higher Power is an English punk band that was formed in Leeds, West Yorkshire in 2014. They have released two full-length studio albums, one EP, one live album and one demo. Their second album, 27 Miles Underwater, was their major label debut through Roadrunner Records. They were also voted “the most likely contemporary band to breakthrough into the mainstream” (via a poll at Revolver magazine).

Bearings

Canadian pop-punk group, Bearings, rose out of the Ottawa underground with a series of respected independent EPs before signing a deal with Pure Noise Records to issue their full-length debut, Blue in the Dark, in 2018. They pumped up their sound on 2020’s larger than life Hello, It’s You, then scaled it back down on 2023’s The Best Part About Being Human.

DRAIN

Drain, an American hardcore punk band, formed in Santa Cruz, California in 2014. Beginning without any set musical style, the 2015 hiring of Sammy Ciaramitaro (vocals) and Cody Chavez (guitar, formerly bass) led the band to embracing the influence of hardcore and thrash metal. They have released two demos, three EPs and two full length albums. The New York Times credited them as one of the driving forces of American hardcore’s “Rennaissance” in the 2020s.

Neck Deep

Neck Deep, a pop-punk band from Wrexham, formed in 2012. They founded after vocalist, Ben Barlow, met former lead guitarist Lloyd Roberts. The pair posted a song “What Did You Expect?” online under the name Neck Deep. The song soon gained traction online, resulting in the addition of rhythm guitarist Matt West, drummer Dani Washington/Abasi, and bassist Fil Thorpe-Evans. They released a pair of EPs, Rain in July (2012) and A History of Bad Decisions (2013), both recorded by Barlow’s older brother Seb, before signing with Hopeless in August 2013.
