On June 21, 2025, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO was alive with timeless energy as O.A.R. headlined a memorable night under the stars. Kicking things off was Blind Melon, whose nostalgic alt-rock set laid a solid foundation for the evening, blending ‘90s-era charm with raw, heartfelt performance. As the sun dipped behind the sandstone monoliths, O.A.R. took the stage with their signature mix of rock, reggae, and jam-band spirit—delivering a crowd-pleasing set packed with fan favorites and feel-good moments.
Blind Melon
Blind Melon rose to fame in the early 1990s as one of alternative rock’s most distinctive voices—blending elements of folk, psychedelia, and grunge with a soulful, jam-inspired edge. Formed in Los Angeles in 1990, the band was fronted by the magnetic and deeply emotive Shannon Hoon, whose unforgettable vocals helped catapult their self-titled debut album to multi-platinum status. The breakout single “No Rain,” accompanied by its iconic “bee girl” music video, became a cultural touchstone and remains a beloved classic decades later.
Their 1995 follow-up, Soup, showcased a darker, more experimental side of the band and has since earned cult acclaim for its raw, introspective songwriting. Tragedy struck later that year with Hoon’s untimely passing, halting the band’s rise just as their sound was evolving. After an extended hiatus, the remaining members—Rogers Stevens, Brad Smith, Christopher Thorn, and Glen Graham—reunited in the mid-2000s with vocalist Travis Warren, reigniting the flame of their unmistakable sound.
With Warren at the helm, Blind Melon has released new material and returned to touring, bringing their emotionally charged performances and timeless catalog to fans both old and new. Their live shows honor the legacy of their early work while embracing growth, resilience, and the enduring power of connection through music.

O.A.R
O.A.R. (short for Of A Revolution) burst onto the music scene in 1996 from Rockville, Maryland. Formed by a group of high school friends, the band includes Marc Roberge (vocals/guitar), Chris Culos (drums), Richard On (guitar), Benj Gershman (bass), and Jerry DePizzo (saxophone/guitar). What began as a grassroots movement quickly evolved into a nationwide phenomenon, thanks to the band’s relentless touring schedule and loyal college-town following. O.A.R. DIY ethic and captivating live shows helped them sell out venues long before they signed with a label, eventually landing with Lava Records in 2002.
O.A.R. blends alternative rock, reggae, roots, and jam-band energy to craft a dynamic, feel-good sound that resonates across generations. Their fifth studio album, Stories of a Stranger (2005), marked a breakthrough moment with hits like “Love and Memories” and “Lay Down.” In 2008, their platinum-certified single “Shattered (Turn the Car Around)” climbed to No. 2 on Billboard’s Adult Top 40 chart, further cementing their place in mainstream rock. Known for their powerful live performances, O.A.R. has released multiple live albums and regularly headlines amphitheaters and festivals. In 2025, they released the single “Our Diamond, Our District,” a fresh anthem that continues their tradition of heartfelt songwriting and connection with fans.
