Offset @ Fillmore Auditorium

Offset CRUSHED his show at Fillmore Auditorium on March 27, 2024 in Denver, CO. He came out with a bang and left the audience eggier for his return.

After a quiet winter season, former Migos member & Atlanta rapper, Offset, sprung the concert scene with a fun performance. With fans anticipating this event from the success of his recent release SET IT OFF, concertgoers had plenty to feast on before the headliner came on.

When Offset took the stage, it was evident he was ready to deliver a unique and fun show. Showmanship was at the forefront and has been this past year. He’s used Michael Jackson as a fashion & creative muse through his recent music videos and his dancing skills onstage. While it sadly felt underappreciated from the audience, I think that stems from the normality of the lack of effort some rapper’s put into their live shows (tossing on tour merch, walking out in front of a giant LED screen, just ad-libbing to the streaming version of songs, etc.). It was actually refreshing to see someone show the thought & effort they put into their show.

This impressive display, mixed with the cool light show and array of backup dancers, definitely made the show an overall fun experience as someone who grew up on the days of Culture. I truly hope more rappers can take notes from this tour and audiences will grow more to appreciate that passion & energy while it’s still here.
