The show wastes no time kicking off the 5-act show with a classical version of “O Fortuna”. Which set a moody & dark tone with “an antihero is among us” on the screen. All at once Peso appears on a throne-like chair as a group of dancers wearing robot-like masks run to all ends of the stage. Despite a foot injury & just attending a Rockies game in the daytime, he was in high spirits as “La Patrulla” & “La Durango” kicked off the show.

The horn section of “AMG” & the entire show sparked waves of excitement. This also accompanied by the sharp strumming of the bajo sexto. Peso performed with confidence as it cut through the bold musical backdrop with precision. Dripped out in all black & a custom ski mask, he yanks off the mask to show a wide smile. This made the crowd go wild as fireworks closed out Act One with “Rubicon.”

Following this were four more acts, each offering a unique experience. The second act shifted to a more emotional vibe, featuring tracks like “Bye” and “Luna” that highlighted his vunerable side. The mood was somber, but the crowd’s enthusiastic chants kept the energy alive. Especially as the act concluded with “Ella Baila Sola.” The third act brought a burst of club/reggaeton vibes with the mix of “La Bebe” and “QLONA.” Peso kept the audience dancing with the help of a lively troupe of dancers.

The final act paid homage to the rich heritage of Mexican corridos, with Peso performing hits like “Hollywood” and “PRC” while also acknowledging both past legends and the new generation of artists. This act underscored Peso’s role in the evolution of the genre, wrapping up the night with a nod to the bright future of Latin music.
