On September 18, 2025 The Beaches delivered a high-energy performance at Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee, to a packed and enthusiastic crowd. Debbii Dawson
Debbii Dawson is an American singer, songwriter, and producer known for her genre-blending style that fuses pop, folk, and country. Raised in Hutchinson, Minnesota, she comes from a musical family with Indian heritage. Her grandfather taught himself organ using a drawn keyboard, which her father later taught to Debbii. This early exposure inspired her musical creativity and foundation in songwriting.
Dawson gained national attention on America’s Got Talent, showcasing her captivating voice and unique musical style. She signed with RCA Records and secured co-publishing deals with Warner Chappell Music and Katy Perry’s Unsub Publishing. Her music is characterized by cinematic pacing, introspective lyrics, and emotional vulnerability.
In 2024, she released her sophomore EP, How To Be Human, exploring self-discovery and personal growth. The project received praise for its innovative songwriting and production. In 2025, she released the single “Walla Walla,” further establishing her as a rising star in contemporary pop music. The Beaches
The Beaches are a Canadian rock band from Toronto, formed in 2009. The group consists of Jordan Miller (lead vocals, bass), Kylie Miller (guitar, backing vocals), Leandra Earl (keyboards, guitar, backing vocals), and Eliza Enman-McDaniel (drums). Originally performing under the name Done with Dolls, the band rebranded as The Beaches in 2013, developing a signature sound that blends indie rock, pop rock, dance rock, and post-punk revival. Their music combines punchy guitar riffs, infectious hooks, and lyrics that often explore themes of empowerment, friendship, and personal growth.
The band first gained significant recognition with their debut album Late Show in 2017. The record earned them the 2018 Juno Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year, establishing The Beaches as one of Canada’s most exciting new rock acts. Their follow-up albums, The Professional (2019) and Future Lovers (2021), continued to showcase their evolving sound, highlighting the band’s ability to blend rock grit with melodic pop sensibilities. In 2022, they released Sisters Not Twins (The Professional Lovers Album), a compilation of previous EPs, which won the Juno Award for Rock Album of the Year. These releases solidified their reputation as innovators in the Canadian rock scene and helped them build a loyal fanbase at home and abroad.
In 2023, The Beaches experienced a major breakthrough with the viral success of their single “Blame Brett,” a punk-rock breakup anthem that topped the Billboard Canada Rock Charts. The song introduced the band to a younger, international audience and highlighted their knack for combining catchy melodies with relatable storytelling. The success of “Blame Brett” led to an increase in streaming numbers and sold-out shows, both in Canada and internationally, with fans drawn to the band’s energetic live performances and charismatic stage presence.
In 2024, The Beaches released their album No Hard Feelings, which further explored introspective and personal themes while maintaining the high-energy rock sound fans love. The album received critical acclaim for its songwriting, production, and authenticity. Known for their electrifying live shows, The Beaches continue to tour extensively, performing at major festivals and venues around the world. The band has been recognized with multiple Juno Awards, including Group of the Year in 2024 and 2025, and continues to be a driving force in modern rock music.
