Beachcrimes
Beachcrimes is a Los Angeles-based electronic dance duo formed in 2023 by seasoned songwriters Ryan McMahon and Tia Tia. Before launching their own project, both artists built impressive résumés writing for major acts—McMahon co-wrote hits like Walk The Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance,” while Tia Tia penned songs for artists such as Justin Bieber, Ava Max, and John Legend. Frustrated by the traditional music industry’s slow pace, they created Beachcrimes to release music on their own terms, crafting tracks in hotel rooms around the world and sharing them directly with fans.
