On the evening of July 24, 2025, Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Englewood, CO, came alive as indie-pop trio AJR headlined the sold‑out “Somewhere in the Sky” show. The concert kicked off with Madilyn Mei, whose heartfelt vocals set an intimate tone, followed by the buoyant sounds of Valley. Next up, Cavetown brought an indie-folk charm that warmed the crowd. Finally, AJR delivered a high‑energy headlining set, closing out a seamless succession of performances that showcased a memorable blend of rising talent and chart-topping flair.
Valley
Valley is a Toronto‑based indie‑pop trio that formed in 2014. The group features lead vocalist Rob Laska, bassist Alex Dimauro, and drummer Karah James. They built their signature sound through EPs like Car Test (2015) and Last Birthday (2021), and burst into mainstream attention with the viral single “Like 1999,” which earned multi‑platinum status and global acclaim.
The band earned Juno Award nominations in 2020 for Breakthrough Group, in 2022 for Group of the Year, and most recently in 2025 for their album Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden. They just completed a North American headlining tour behind that album. They also wrapped their first-ever headline run across the UK and Europe earlier this year.

AJR
AJR is a genre-blending indie-pop trio made up of brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met, who began making music together in their New York City apartment. Their DIY production style, quirky lyricism, and orchestral-pop fusion helped them break into the mainstream with 2013’s viral hit “I’m Ready.” From street busking to stadium headlining, AJR has carved out a space in modern pop by combining clever storytelling with anthemic soundscapes. They write, produce, and mix all of their music from their living room—a hallmark of their creative independence.
Over the years, AJR has released several critically and commercially successful albums, including The Click (2017), Neotheater (2019), OK Orchestra (2021), and their most recent project, The Maybe Man (2023). The band has earned multiple multi-platinum singles like “Weak,” “Bang!,” and “World’s Smallest Violin,” which have racked up billions of streams worldwide.
AJR is also known for their imaginative live performances, which feature immersive visuals, animated storytelling, and high-concept stage production. In 2025, the band launched their “Somewhere in the Sky” tour and continued to engage fans with new music and Adam Met’s debut book Amplify, which explores climate change through the lens of pop culture and activism. With their ever-evolving sound and ambitious projects, AJR continues to push boundaries in the pop and alt-indie scenes.
