Aly & AJ played a show in Denver recently on April 4, 2023 @ Summit Denver. Due to Colorado weather, the show was delayed two hours and folks waiting got to see the musicians get to the Summit as well as experience one of the fastest stage set ups. Yet all the performances were worth the wait and would recommend to see them when they hit your city.
Jorge Elbrecht
Starting the show Jorge took the stage with a shorter set than usual, as the stage was not fully set up. He did an amazing performance that got people moving.
Miya Folik
The second opener, Miya Folick took an acoustic approach due to the delay and the stage not being complete set for her usual instruments. Folick created a set list specifically for the show. Due to some equipment not being set up, she could not hear herself sing and had to cut some of the songs. Although it was a short set, she had the crowd singing along with her.
Aly & AJ
Now for many Disney kids and Aly & AJ lovers, this was the moment they have been waiting for. They thanked the crowd and were very thankful to everybody who stuck around (many people did decided to head out due to the cold). Along with their gratitude, they told their fans that they would play a complete set despite the show starting late.
During their performance, they talked about their traumatic experience when they were caught in a crossfire shooting in Sacramento back in 2022. They are in collaboration with @northwellhealth for the pledge “It doesn’t kill to ask.” Many fans were happy to join the pledge to lose the stigma against talking about gun safety and bring awareness to properly securing fire guns. Seeing them talk about this hit home, as I have personal connections with shootings. If you would like to join the link to sign the pledge the link is below:
This is definitely a show you want to see. The sisters do a beautiful and inspiring performance, and make sure that fans don’t miss out on any of the fun.

Miya Folick
Los Angeles based singer/songwriter Miya Folick spent her formative years studying in New York before returning to California with a newfound interest in music. Folick began writing songs and learned how to produce her own material. Eventually, she knew she had to bring her music outside of her bedroom. Miya put out the Strange Darling EP on Terrible Records in 2015, followed by her debut album Premonitions in 2018 on Terrible/Interscope, starting to uncover the seemingly limitless power of her vocals. In January 2020, Billboard declared that Miya had “set the bar for 2020 with a spellbinding performance of all-new material at LA’s Echo.”
