Central Cee, born Oakley Neil Caesar-Su on June 4, 1998, in Ladbroke Grove, London, has emerged as one of the most compelling figures in UK rap. He burst onto the scene in 2020 with his powerful drill singles “Day in the Life” and “Loading,” quickly catching the attention of fans and critics with his raw authenticity and magnetic delivery. His debut mixtape, Wild West (2021), became an instant success, debuting at number two on the UK Albums Chart and establishing him as a voice to watch in the rap world. With Wild West, Central Cee showcased his ability to blend gritty street tales with catchy hooks and innovative production, solidifying his reputation as a rising star.

In 2022, Central Cee released his second mixtape, 23, which catapulted to number one on the UK Albums Chart. Packed with high-profile collaborations with artists like Young Miko, 21 Savage, Dave, Lil Durk, Skepta, and Lil Baby, Can’t Rush Greatness highlights Central Cee’s versatility and ambition.
