Elderbrook
A live phenomenon in every sense of the word, Elderbrook (real name Alex Kotz) is a British multi-instrumentalist, producer, and singer-songwriter whose genre-defying sound and emotionally resonant songwriting have captivated audiences worldwide. Known for his innate ability to blend infectious beats with introspective lyricism, Elderbrook crafts deeply personal music that explores themes of identity, vulnerability, human connection, and mental wellbeing—offering listeners not just tracks to dance to, but experiences to feel deeply.
Elderbrook first burst into the global spotlight in 2017 with the breakout hit “Cola,” a hypnotic collaboration with house duo Camelphat. The track quickly became a worldwide phenomenon, selling over seven million copies, climbing to No. 1 on the US Dance Airplay Chart, and earning both a GRAMMY nomination for Best Dance Recording and an Ivor Novello Award nod. It was a game-changing moment that cemented Elderbrook’s place in the modern electronic music landscape.
Far from a one-hit wonder, Elderbrook has since carved out a reputation as one of the most compelling and versatile artists in contemporary music. His discography includes three critically-acclaimed studio albums—Why Do We Shake in the Cold? (2020), Little Love (2023), and Another Touch (2024)—each showcasing a rich evolution of sound and a commitment to emotional honesty. These records, along with a string of successful singles and collaborations, have formed a powerful catalogue of genre-blurring, dancefloor-ready anthems that pulse with heart and meaning.
With over 1.5 billion global streams to his name, Elderbrook’s impact reaches far beyond the studio. He has toured extensively across the globe, joining forces onstage and in the studio with some of the most respected names in the industry, including Diplo, John Summit, Bob Moses, Rudimental, Black Coffee, and RÜFÜS DU SOL. His live shows are widely praised for their immersive energy and multi-instrumental flair, seamlessly blending live instrumentation with electronic production in a way that feels both intimate and explosive.
Highlights from Elderbrook’s ever-growing list of career milestones include supporting Jungle and Odesza on major international tours, delivering a show-stopping performance at Coachella’s Sahara Stage, and headlining a spellbinding show at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. He’s also taken his captivating live act to countless venues and festivals across North America, Australia, and Europe, earning a reputation as a must-see performer with a distinctive sound and vision.
As he steps into this next chapter of his career, Elderbrook continues to break boundaries—sonically, emotionally, and creatively. With a fearless spirit and an ever-growing fanbase, he stands as a trailblazing force in modern music: thoughtful, bold, and undeniably moving.
