On January 31, 2025, Futurebirds rocked the socks off of all attendees at their show at Ogden Theatre in Denver, CO. With Abby Hamilton and Marfa taking the stage moments before, the show was nothing short of spectacular.
Abby Hamilton
Born and raised in Nicholasville, KY, artist-to-watch AbbyHamilton is in the midst of a breakout year following the release of her acclaimed debut album, #1 Zookeeper (of the San Diego Zoo). Released this past fall via Blue Gown Records—a new imprint run by WhizzBangBAM’s Ian Thornton (Tyler Childers) in partnership with Virgin Music—Justin Craig and Duane Lundy produced the album, further establishing Hamilton as one of music’s most intriguing new voices. Of the record, American Songwriter praises, “infectious…introducing the acclaimed songsmith’s captivating blend of folk and indie rock,” while Holler declares, “one of the most refreshingly out of step voices in country music has made one of the year’s most genuinely brilliant and beautiful records” and Wide Open Country proclaims, “channels a universal relatability that will aid anyone’s journey of self-discovery and healing”.

Marfa
Born and raised to a Texas country soundtrack. Forged in Colorado from a shared love of rock icons past and present. Ignited by the spirit of California’s Laurel Canyon sound. Marfa has arrived with an undeniably authentic sound as familiar as your favorite pair of Wranglers while as fresh as the morning Rocky Mountain air.

Futurebirds
Hailing from the bohemian college town of Athens, Georgia, Futurebirds play laid-back country-rock with an atmospheric, psychedelic twist. Sounding twangy and amiable, they have earned a reputation among their fans for their eclectic creative spirit, making music that blends the clever angles of indie rock, the tuneful melodies of pop, and the open-ended adventure of jam-band sounds with the distinctly Southern sound that first made them hometown heroes. The group’s approach, honed by extensive touring, found its voice in the recording studio on 2013’s Baba Yaga and 2015’s Hotel Parties, while 2023’s Bloomin’ was a collaboration with kindred spirit Carl Broemel of My Morning Jacket, and 2024’s Easy Company captured their breezy groove at its best.
