Kim Petras made a stop in Denver, CO on her Feed the Beast tour on November 8, 2023, playing a killer show at Fillmore Auditorium. Hyping up the crowd was Alex Chapman, playing some major throwbacks including Hilary Duff & some old Disney channel favorites. Shows like these are so important and special because it feels like a big gay club, a safe space for anyone on the LGBTQ+ spectrum, to collectively come together and just be. More of this, please!
Alex Chapman
DJ and producer Alex Chapman grew up in Chicago with a deep passion for music and sharing it with others. Influenced by a growing EDM scene and evolving music production tech, Chapman began DJing in college as a way to bring people together. Since then, he’s released fun and energetically catchy dance tracks, including his most recent, “Horsey,” featuring pop sensation Kim Petras.

Petras’s collaborative 2022 single “Unholy” with Sam Smith topped charts internationally, including the UK Singles Chart and the Billboard Hot 100, making her the first openly transgender solo artist to reach number one in the United States. Petras was the first openly transgender artist to receive a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (for “Unholy” in 2023) and the second transgender woman to win a Grammy following Wendy Carlos.
