Logic & Oliver Tree Ignite Red Rocks: A Night of Genre-Bending Energy

Logic

On October 4, 2025, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, hosted a high-octane evening featuring two of the most dynamic and genre-defying artists in the music industry: Logic and Oliver Tree. Dubbed “The Fall Off Show,” this one-night-only event brought together the cerebral lyricism of Logic and the eccentric energy of Oliver Tree, creating an unforgettable experience for fans. The night was further elevated by performances from special guests Supercomputer, T-Man The Wizard, and Hermit, each adding their unique flair to the eclectic lineup.

Oliver Tree

Oliver Tree Nickell, known professionally as Oliver Tree, is an American singer, songwriter, producer, and filmmaker born on June 29, 1993, in Santa Cruz, California. He began his musical journey in the early 2010s under the moniker “Tree,” releasing the album Splitting Branches in 2013. His cover of Radiohead’s “Karma Police” garnered attention after Thom Yorke’s approval. Tree signed with R&S Records in 2011 and released the EP Demons, which further established his presence in the music scene.

After a hiatus to study music technology at the California Institute of the Arts, Tree returned to music in 2016 with the single “When I’m Down,” produced by DJ Whethan. This led to a contract with Atlantic Records and the release of his debut studio album, Ugly Is Beautiful (2020). The album received acclaim for its genre-blending sound and introspective lyrics.

In 2022, Tree released Cowboy Tears, continuing his exploration of diverse musical styles. In 2023, he announced his third studio album, Alone in a Crowd, with the single “Here We Go Again” featuring DJ David Guetta. The album was released on September 29, 2023, accompanied by a world tour. In 2025, Tree released “Superhero,” his first single in over a year, signaling his continued evolution as an artist.

Logic

Logic, born Sir Robert Bryson Hall II on January 22, 1990, in Gaithersburg, Maryland, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Emerging from a challenging upbringing marked by poverty and family struggles, Logic found solace in music and began his career in the mid-2000s. His debut mixtape, Psychological: The Mixtape (2009), introduced his introspective style, which was further refined in the Young Sinatra series. The third installment, Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever (2013), garnered significant attention and led to a contract with Def Jam Recordings.

Logic’s first two studio albums, Under Pressure (2014) and The Incredible True Story (2015), both achieved top-five positions on the U.S. Billboard 200 and received platinum certifications. His subsequent albums, Everybody (2017), YSIV(2018), and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2019), debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. The single “1-800-273-8255” from Everybody became a top-three hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated for a Grammy Award.

After releasing No Pressure (2020), Logic announced his retirement from music. However, he returned with Bobby Tarantino III (2021) and Vinyl Days (2022). In 2023, he released College Park and Ultra 85 in 2024, both independently. Beyond music, Logic has ventured into filmmaking with his directorial debut, Paradise Records, a comedy exploring themes of biracial identity. The film, while criticized for its humor, reflects Logic’s ongoing exploration of personal and cultural narratives.
