On May 28, 2025, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, hosted a memorable evening as Lord Huron headlined the first of two nights on their “Strange Trails” 10th Anniversary Tour. The night began with a captivating performance by Molly Lewis, whose unique blend of ukulele melodies and ethereal whistling set a whimsical tone for the evening. Following her, Lord Huron took the stage, delivering a powerful set that included fan favorites and tracks from their acclaimed album, Strange Trails, celebrating a decade of its release. The combination of Lewis’ enchanting opening and Lord Huron’s emotive performance made for an unforgettable night under the stars at one of the world’s most iconic venues.
Molly Lewis
Molly Lewis is an Australian-born, Los Angeles-based musician celebrated for her exceptional whistling talent, which she has elevated into a distinctive art form. Growing up between Australia and Los Angeles, she developed a passion for whistling at a young age. Inspired by the documentary Pucker Up: The Fine Art of Whistling, she entered the International Whistlers Convention in 2012, winning the “Whistler Who Traveled the Greatest Distance” award. This recognition propelled her into the spotlight, leading to collaborations with renowned artists such as Dr. Dre, Karen O, and Mac DeMarco.
In 2021, Lewis released her debut EP, The Forgotten Edge, followed by her full-length album, On the Lips, in 2024. Her music blends elements of noir jazz, 60s exotica, and Italian film soundtracks, creating a cinematic and atmospheric soundscape. Notably, her whistling featured prominently in the 2023 film Barbie, where she performed a rendition of Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” Lewis’s innovative approach to music continues to captivate audiences worldwide, solidifying her as a unique and influential figure in contemporary music.

Lord Huron
Lord Huron is an American indie folk band founded in 2010 by Michigan-born artist Ben Schneider. The band’s name is inspired by Lake Huron, a place Schneider frequented during his childhood. Initially a solo project, Lord Huron evolved into a full band with Schneider (vocals, guitar), Mark Barry (drums, percussion), Miguel Briseño (bass, keyboard, theremin), and Tom Renaud (guitar). They craft richly atmospheric music that blends folk, rock, and cinematic storytelling into immersive soundscapes.
The band’s debut album, Lonesome Dreams (2012), introduced their cinematic blend of folk and rock, with tracks like “Time to Run” and “The World Ender.” Their follow-up, Strange Trails (2015), featured the breakout hit “The Night We Met,” which gained widespread popularity after being featured in the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why.
The song was certified triple platinum by the RIAA and has amassed over 2.8 billion streams on Spotify. In 2021, Lord Huron released Long Lost, an album that delved into baroque pop and outlaw country influences. The band continued to expand their sonic horizons with the release of The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1 in 2025, featuring singles like “Who Laughs Last?” and “Looking Back.” Known for their immersive storytelling and atmospheric sound, Lord Huron has maintained a strong presence in the indie music scene, captivating audiences worldwide with their evocative performances and cinematic compositions. Their music often transports listeners on a journey through haunting melodies and vivid lyrical imagery, making them one of the most distinct voices in modern folk-rock.
