New York City’s Melt made waves in Nashville, Tennessee on November 1st, 2024. With opener Maris, the pair illuminated the night at Cannery Hall.

Maris

Prior to Melt, the crowd was warmed up by the fiery and cosmic Maris, who took the stage adorned in a space suit and had the crowd dancing and singing along by the time she reached her first chorus. Performing songs from her EP entitled Gravity alongside several singles, her performance along with her discography was high-energy, engaging, and an undeniably perfect way to kick off the night. One of the highlights from her set included her song “The Fight”, a powerful and dynamic pop song she wrote to honor a cat she fostered.

Melt

Melt is no doubt one of those special bands whose records and music are impressive. However, they have the ability to completely floor you if you get a chance to hear them live. Performing powerhouse songs such as “Waves” and “Shy”, you could hear the audience erupting into cheers multiple times during each song because of how incredible they sounded, especially from lead vocalist Veronica Stewart-Frommer. Moreover, their eccentric and psychedelic style combined with the strength of their musical ability and force behind their lyrics make a Melt concert one to never forget, wrapping every person in Cannery Hall around their finger.
