A mix of magic and sparkles radiated at Bowery Ballroom in New York City on October 21, 2025. The energy perfectly matched when Molly Grace took the stage, following an energetic and heartfelt opening set from Meg Smith.

Meg Smith Electrifies the Bowery Ballroom with Playful Glitter, Audience Participation, and Unforgettable Stage Presence

Meg Smith’s set immediately drew in the crowd — a mix of angel wings, pajama sets, and plenty of glitter. Her fans were visibly thrilled to see her, singing along to every word. Between songs like “God Damn Baby” and “Girls Just Want To Be Famous(er),” she brought the room together for one of the night’s most memorable moments. The audience got to vote on which cover she should perform, using a dB reader to choose the winning song — something I had never seen an artist do before on stage. The winning cover was Britney Spears’ “…Baby One More Time,” which Smith delivered with a mix of playfulness and vocal power that made the classic hit feel brand new.

Molly Grace Commands the Stage with Soulful Vocals, Band Camaraderie, and a Journey Celebrated Through Music

When Molly Grace appeared, the energy in the room shifted from excitement to awe. Over the past few years, she’s built a devoted following through her online presence and standout live performances — from her set at the Mercury Lounge earlier this year to her recent festival appearance at the All Things Go festival in Washington, DC. Molly Grace’s Bowery Ballroom performance felt like a celebration of that journey.

Her setlist flowed seamlessly, with upbeat songs such as “Say When” and “F.E.M.M.E.” Each song showcased her strong, soulful vocals and knack for connecting with the audience. One of the most striking moments came when Molly Grace stepped aside to give her backup singers a chance to take solos — a rare, refreshing gesture that showcased her admiration for her band and her belief in working as a unit to create amazing music.

What truly set the night apart wasn’t just the music — it was the environment. The audience felt like a community, with strangers complimenting each other’s outfits and cheering just as loudly for the opener as for the headliner. It was a safe, welcoming space where everyone seemed free to be themselves — a reflection of the artists onstage.

By the end of the night, the Bowery Ballroom was buzzing with warmth and gratitude. Both Meg Smith and Molly Grace proved they’re not just rising stars, but artists who bring people together through music that feels honest and alive. As fans spilled out onto Delancey Street, their laughter and excitement lingered in the crisp fall air — proof that some concerts don’t just entertain; they leave you glowing, connected, and inspired long after the lights fade.
