Myles Smith Brought the Church, the Sweat, and the Soul to the Stage at Mission Ballroom

On April 9, 2025, Myles Smith brought his electrifying performance to Mission Ballroom in Denver, CO, delivering a night to remember. The energy in the venue was palpable as fans celebrated a night of incredible music, creating lasting memories and forging connections with fellow concertgoers. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement, and each song seemed to lift the spirits of everyone present.

There are concerts, and then there are moments that transcend music entirely—Myles Smith gave us the latter. Attending his latest show felt like stepping into a revival: spiritual, raw, and absolutely unforgettable. To put it plainly, it was one of the most incredible shows I’ve ever been to.

From the second Myles stepped on stage, the energy was electric. It wasn’t just a performance—it was a testimony. Rocking a Denver Broncos jersey, he immediately connected with the crowd, and it felt like he was one of us. The lighting was soft and golden, with intimate string lights draped behind him on stage and stretched over the crowd, casting a warm, almost dreamlike glow. It felt like we were gathered around a campfire, sharing something real and personal—yet at the same time, it was huge, like we were all part of something bigger than ourselves, doing so in one big room having the time of our lives.

But what set this show apart wasn’t just the music—it was Myles himself. He got vulnerable, in the most courageous and beautiful way. He opened up about not seeing his father for 15 years, about the anger and the weight of that absence, and about his journey back into therapy—a journey we so strongly advocate for here at PCD. These weren’t just confessions; they were acts of healing, shared with hundreds of people who needed to hear them just as much as he probably needed to say them.

And just when we thought it couldn’t get any more unforgettable—it did. After a show-stopping encore, Myles gave us a surprise second encore of “Stargazing” that felt like pure magic. The crowd was already losing it, cheering so loud and so long that I almost teared up. He joked about getting fined for going over time (though honestly, it felt totally planned in the best way), and then—he came into the crowd.

Myles sang “Stargazing” for a second time surrounded by his fans, everyone jumping, screaming, completely in it together. It was one of those moments that lives in your bones. Iconic doesn’t even begin to cover it.

There’s something unmistakable about Myles Smith—an energy, a presence, a soul-deep authenticity that you don’t just watch, you feel. He’s not just a performer; he’s a preacher of emotion, a storyteller with a guitar, a light that draws people in. It’s crystal clear: this man was born for the stage. And after a night like this, I’m more convinced than ever that we’re witnessing the rise of something extraordinary. If I had to bet, the next time he plays Denver, it won’t be in a room—it’ll be headlining Red Rocks.
