Starting in 2022, Briston Maroney has held an annual festival titled “PARADISE” at Brooklyn Bowl, located in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee. Taking place from October 12th-14th, thousands of music lovers filled the venue in anticipation for a fun 3 days. Each night, there were 3 opening bands, ended with a special set by Briston, which contained a setlist unique to that night.
The Music
The lineup was a well-curated blend of established acts and rising stars from the Indie/Alternative Rock Realm. The performances were nothing short of exceptional, showcasing the immense talent & artistic prowess of both Maroney & his handpicked musicians. These included hey, nothing, Arcy Drive, Hovvdy, and many more. From heart-wrenching ballads to infectious anthems, each artist brought their unique sound to the stage, captivating the audience & creating an electric atmosphere.
Some highlights
One of my favorite additions was a tattoo booth with some of the best artists in Nashville, Skout Smith & Adam Jackson. For $125, you could enjoy the live music while getting a unique design tattooed. A reminder of this one of a kind festival.
Every night, Mr. Maroney (Briston’s Father) ran into the crowd & enjoyed his son’s song “I’ve been waiting”. He did so while jumping around and being the center of a “Mosh Pit” in the crowd. The last night of the festival Briston even left the stage, hurdling the barricade to join his dad.
The Festival
PARADISE was an unforgettable celebration of music and community. The carefully curated musical lineup showcased a diverse range of talent, with Maroney himself delivering a captivating performance that left a lasting impact…every single night. The festival’s enchanting atmosphere and welcoming spirit made a sense of togetherness among attendees, creating an experience unlike any other. For those seeking a truly immersive and memorable festival experience, this is an event not to be missed.
