Teddy Swims, born Jaten Collin Dimsdale on September 25, 1992, in Conyers, Georgia, is an American singer-songwriter celebrated for his powerful voice and genre-blending style. Raised in a musical family, he grew up listening to soul legends like Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder, which shaped his emotive, versatile sound. Teddy Swims discovered his passion for music through high school musical theater while also learning instruments such as piano and ukulele.
