Teddy Swims Delivers Soul-Stirring Performance at Huntington Pavilion

On July 23, 2025, Chicago’s Huntington Pavilion lit up with soulful energy as Teddy Swims brought his powerhouse vocals to the lakefront stage. The evening kicked off with rising pop artist Isabel Dumaa, who set the tone with heartfelt lyrics and polished melodies. As the sun set over Lake Michigan, fans packed the pavilion for a night of raw emotion, vibrant performances, and unforgettable music.

Isabel Dumaa is an indie-pop singer-songwriter from San Francisco who blends emotional storytelling with polished, modern pop production. She began writing songs at the age of ten and was raised in a household surrounded by music. Influenced by artists like Maggie Rogers and Taylor Swift, Dumaa developed a warm, introspective sound that resonates with listeners across genres. After graduating high school, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue music full time, quickly gaining momentum in the industry.

In 2022, Dumaa released her debut single “Call My Bluff”, which introduced her unique voice and lyrical honesty to the world. She followed it with “Quarter Life Crisis”, a relatable anthem that earned over one million streams on Spotify. That single helped her carve out space in the pop landscape as a fresh and authentic voice. Her breakout success continued with her 2024 debut EP, Just My Nature, a six-track project praised for its emotional vulnerability and melodic depth. The EP was produced by Grammy winner Tyler Chester and Oscar Neidhardt, known for working with artists like Lizzy McAlpine.

Isabel Dumaa has also built a strong online presence through stripped-down acoustic videos, including one viral cover that earned over 11 million views. Her music has been featured in publications like Paste Magazine and Ones to Watch, which highlight her rising status in the indie-pop scene. With compelling lyrics, lush arrangements, and a growing fanbase, Dumaa is quickly becoming one of the most exciting young voices in pop. She continues to perform across the country while writing and recording new music that reflects her journey through young adulthood.

Teddy Swims

Teddy Swims, born Jaten Collin Dimsdale in Conyers, Georgia, is a genre-defying vocalist, songwriter, and breakout soul-pop star. He first gained national attention through YouTube, where he uploaded emotionally charged covers of songs by artists like Lewis Capaldi, Shania Twain, and Michael Jackson. His unique blend of soul, pop, R&B, and country quickly set him apart from other rising artists. His early videos amassed millions of views, thanks to his powerful voice, vulnerable delivery, and genuine stage presence. With tattoos, Southern charm, and unmatched vocal talent, Teddy Swims became an artist people couldn’t ignore.

Teddy Swims grew up surrounded by music. He performed in musical theater and sang in church, later joining metalcore and funk bands in high school. These diverse experiences shaped his dynamic vocal style. In 2019, he launched the moniker “Teddy Swims,” an acronym for “Someone Who Isn’t Me,” reflecting his journey toward personal and artistic self-discovery. After signing with Warner Records, he released his debut EP Unlearning in 2021. That project introduced fans to original music like “Bed on Fire” and “Simple Things,” showcasing his knack for storytelling and vocal intensity.

In 2023, Teddy Swims released his debut full-length album I’ve Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 1). The lead single, “Lose Control,” became a breakout hit, climbing to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also earned over a billion global streams and reached the top of multiple international charts. Swims followed up with Part 2 in January 2025, deepening the album’s themes of vulnerability, healing, and emotional reckoning. Both records received widespread acclaim for their raw honesty and genre-crossing production. Teddy Swims music continues to reflect real-life struggles with mental health, addiction, heartbreak, and identity.
