On July 22, the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, IL lit up with a high-energy night of hip-hop and dancehall as Wiz Khalifa and Sean Paul co-headlined an unforgettable summer show. The evening kicked off with a set from DaBaby, each warming up the crowd with their distinct styles and infectious beats. Sean Paul brought the heat with his signature blend of reggae-infused hits before Wiz Khalifa closed out the night with fan favorites and undeniable charisma, making the event a standout of the season.
DaBaby
DaBaby, born Jonathan Lyndale Kirk in 1991, is a dynamic American rapper from Charlotte, North Carolina. He began his music career in 2014 and gained major attention in 2019 with his debut album Baby on Baby, which featured the hit single “Suge.” Known for his energetic flow and charismatic presence, DaBaby quickly rose to mainstream success.
He followed up with albums like Kirk and Blame It on Baby, both hitting No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. DaBaby has worked with big names including Megan Thee Stallion and Roddy Ricch, strengthening his place in hip-hop. Recently, he released a collaborative mixtape with YoungBoy Never Broke Again and continues to make an impact with his bold style and performances.

Sean Paul
Sean Paul, born Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques on January 9, 1973, in Kingston, Jamaica, stands as a global icon in dancehall and reggae music. He first gained international attention in the early 2000s with his breakthrough album Dutty Rock, which included hits like “Get Busy” and “Gimme the Light.” These tracks helped define the sound of modern dancehall and earned him a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. Known for blending reggae rhythms with hip-hop and pop influences, Sean Paul’s music has topped charts worldwide and made him a household name.
Over his career, Sean Paul has released multiple successful albums, including The Trinity and Tomahawk Technique, continuously evolving his style to stay relevant in a fast-changing music scene. His collaborations span a wide range of artists from Beyoncé and Sia to Clean Bandit and Dua Lipa, showcasing his versatility and global appeal. Recently, his 2022 album Scorcha earned a Grammy nomination and featured high-profile collaborations with Gwen Stefani, Damian Marley, and others. Wiz Khalifa
Wiz Khalifa, born Cameron Jibril Thomaz on September 8, 1987, is a celebrated American rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor. Raised in a military family, Wiz Khalifa lived in countries such as Germany, Japan, and the United Kingdom before settling in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There, he developed a passion for music and began writing lyrics and performing at a young age. His stage name combines “Wiz,” representing wisdom, and “Khalifa,” an Arabic word meaning successor, reflecting his drive to leave a lasting legacy in the music world.
Wiz Khalifa broke into mainstream success with his 2011 single “Black and Yellow,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and became a cultural anthem. His debut studio album, Rolling Papers, received critical praise and showcased his unique blend of smooth rap and catchy melodies. Over the years, Wiz Khalifa has released several successful albums, including O.N.I.F.C. and Blacc Hollywood, solidifying his position as a key figure in hip-hop.
