Dead On A Sunday
Dead On A Sunday is a rising alternative and emo band based in Denver, Colorado, known for blending nostalgic early-2000s emo with modern darkwave and punk influences. The project is fronted by Ross Ryan, a former hip-hop producer who transitioned into emo-punk as a form of cathartic self-expression. Their unique sound draws on influences from goth, industrial, and post-punk genres, creating a dark yet melodic style that feels both fresh and emotionally resonant.
The band made waves with their debut album Strange Days, released in 2022, which featured standout tracks like “Ghosted” and “Dammit (After Dark).” With intensely personal lyrics, brooding aesthetic, and anthemic hooks, Dead On A Sunday quickly gained traction among fans of My Chemical Romance, AFI, and The Cure. In 2024 and 2025, the band continued building momentum with new music and a heavy touring schedule, earning them a growing reputation for moody, high-impact live shows. Their ability to channel raw emotion into genre-defying tracks has made them one of the most compelling acts in the alternative underground.
