A Day To Remember @ Red Rocks Amphitheatre

A Day To Remember rocked their show at Red Rocks on July 22, 2024 in Morrison, CO. With Scowl, Four Year Strong, & The Story So Far warming up the stage, it really did make a day to remember for all attendees.

Scowl

Scowl is an American hardcore punk band from Santa Cruz, California. The band consists of singer Kat Moss, guitarists Malachi Greene and Mikey Bifolco, bassist Bailey Lupo, and drummer Cole Gilbert.
The band released their first collection of songs, a self-titled EP, in 2019. Scowl released a second EP in 2019, titled Reality After Reality... In 2021, the group released their debut full-length album, How Flowers Grow, through Flatspot Records. The group released their third EP in 2023 titled Psychic Dance Routine.

In a 2022 interview with hardcore magazine In Effect singer Kat Moss said about touring: “We are focused heavily on touring as much as possible! We are trying to hit all the places in the US that we haven’t played yet as well as across the pond!”

Four Year Strong

Worcester, Massachusetts combo Four Year Strong play an aggressive but deeply melodic fusion of hardcore, emo pop, and pop-punk. They spent the middle part of the 2000s building a sturdy fan base through hard touring and a series of D.I.Y. releases, leading up to 2007’s Rise or Die Trying. Their sound took a more serious tone on 2011’s In Some Way, Shape, or Form, though it was their 2015 critically acclaimed eponymous fifth album that helped them find a wider audience. After experimenting with alternate versions of earlier material, they kicked off the next decade with 2020’s Brain Pain, then offered a re-recorded version of their fourth album, Enemy of the World, in 2022, before returning with a fresh batch of material in 2024 titled Analysis Paralysis.

The Story So Far

California band the Story So Far have roots in pop-punk, but they also bring in the harder edges of post-hardcore while tapping into the wistful romanticism of classic emo. The group evolved as they became one of the more popular acts of their kind, embracing a more indie-leaning sound and entering the Billboard charts with their 2018 breakout album, Proper Dose. A lengthy gap preceded its follow-up set, I Want to Disappear, which was released in 2024.

A Day To Remember

Over the course of the past several years, each of A Day To Remember’s releases have hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Rock, Indie and/or Alternative Charts. They’ve also sold more than a million units, racked up over 800 million Spotify streams and 500 million YouTube views, two Gold-selling albums and singles (and one Silver album in the UK) and sold out entire continental tours (including their own curated Self Help Festival), amassing a global fanbase whose members number in the millions. All of which explains why Rolling Stone called them “An Artist You Need To Know.” In other words, their creative process has worked and worked well. But for new album Bad Vibrations, the Ocala, Florida-based quintet switched gears and headed for uncharted territory.
