Austin City Limits 2024 – Preview

This year’s lineup for Austin City Limits will be nothing short of amazing. Stacked with dope emerging artists & legends, we are stoked to check it all out. We will be there covering Weekend One – hope to catch ya there!

While obviously the headliners are always the main event, we want to highlight some of the smaller acts that we are stoked about & that you should for sure check out. We are such advocates for the “underdogs,” if you will. And we believe all acts deserve all the love!

Chappell Roan

With Chappell’s rapid growth, this one seems pretty obvious. She is breaking festival crowd records this year and I would expect she’ll do the same at ACL. She will for sure be headlining these fests next year. But for this year, we are excited to join the Pink Pony Club and dance along to “Hot To Go”.

Mickey Guyton

Mickey is someone who I’ve been following since I lived in Nashville (2015-2018). She has been someone I’ve always rooted for & believe deserves the world, especially breaking records in Country Music. She was nominated for a GRAMMY for her poignant stunner “Black Like Me,” making her the first Black female solo artist to be nominated in a country category. Always speaking out about her experience as a Black woman in this industry, we love to champion that voice & back the mission behind that advocacy.

Tanner Adell

Tanner came to my radar on my FYP page after one of the Peloton instructors shouted her out. Then soon after, even more on my radar when Beyonce dropped her new album, with Tanner featuring on one of the songs. Ever since then, she continues to pop up, crushing the social media promotion of her songs. Because of this, I am so looking forward to her set at ACL. Discovering new artists, especially live, is one of my favorite things!

The Beaches

While I haven’t personally seen The Beaches live, I knoooow they put on a killer show. Also, yaaaas to an all female band. We can’t wait to scream sing “Blame Brett” & “Edge of the Earth” with the rest of the crowd! As well as learn some new songs & just vibe.

iDKHOW

They are a band I have heard lots about. That their live performance has a significant difference than their recorded music. Bringing the magic of why live music is so impactful and beautiful. It can really transcend you to a different world, if you will. Excited to check out their set!

Jordy

I got to discover Jordy when he opened for Spencer Sutherland last year. Let me tell you, I love seeing an openly gay man dominating and highlighting queer power, if you will. He’s got an amazing voice, has recently become an independent artist, which IMO gives him the freedom to do whatever he wants (musically). We are so excited to see his set at ACL!

Jess Glynne

Jess has been someone I have loved and wanted to see for YEARS. Her voice makes me absolutely melt. Crossing my fingers that she plays “Hold My Hand” because I will definitely be scream singing it along with her.

Flipturn

This band has definitely soared over the past year or so, blowing up and consistently coming across my music radar. We’ve covered them multiple times, but am excited to see their show in a festival setting.

MisterWives

If you know me, it’s not secret that MisterWives is one of my favorites. Mandy has one of the most amazing voices I’ve ever heard, and the way she can belt it out while jumping around the stage the entire set = unmatched. This is also a stop along their tour, one of their last tours for a while as they will be taking a break after this. Definitely don’t miss this set!

Myles Smith

Myles is new on my radar and probably with a lot of you, discovered him from his mega viral hit “Stargazing”. I am OBSESSED with this song, so I am so excited to get to hear it live & discover (and probably fall in love with) all his other music as well. Join me, why don’t ya?!
