Finneas
On his largest global headlining tour, Finneas stepped out from his sister’s shadow (Billie Eilish) to become a star in his own right.
Finneas wowed a sold-out crowd at Salt Shed during his “For Cryin’ Out Loud!: The Tour” stop, continuing the family tradition of enthralling audiences with thoughtful songwriting and stellar showmanship.
During the 19-song set, Finneas showcased selections from his two LPs and EP, displaying his talent for arrangements and multi-instrumental skills. The minimalist stage setup allowed the music to take center stage, with Finneas’ thrift store vibe adding to the no-frills atmosphere.
From the pensive “Starfucker” to the retro pop of “2001,” and the smooth R&B of “What’s It Gonna Take to Break Your Heart?” to the folk-inspired “Partners in Crime,” Finneas’ diverse songbook captivated the audience. Even high-pitched catcalls from young fans couldn’t break the spell.
Supported by a solid backing band, including Chicago native David Marinelli, Finneas delivered a memorable performance.
