John Vincent III was back for a second night at Bluebird Theater in Denver, CO on February 9, 2024. Supporting him was Bo Staloch. He set the tone & got the crowd ready for John!
Bo Staloch
Opening up the two night run for John Vincent III at the Bluebird Theatre, Bo Staloch was someone that I hadn’t heard of until I saw he was opening. Bo is a young, up and coming artist from Austin, Texas that can bring the room to a hush with his lyric, as well as melodic and powerful guitar playing. His top hit, “Springtime Red Tulips”, was an amazing start to his set that grabbed the crowd’s attention instantly and he easily kept them engaged for the remainder of the set. Bo’s emotion on the stage shines through and you can see how much his words and music mean to him personally. The crowd loved Bo and kept quiet for his 30 minute set, just him and his guitar on stage.
On the second night of the run, Bo had John Vincent III come out and play a song that they wrote together. This was one of my favorite moments from the show because it both showed the moments where a young artist opens up for someone who inspires him and how those worlds can collide and create something new and powerful. Bo’s music tends to be more on the sadder end of the spectrum, but it is a powerful tool for those who relate to it and how someone’s music can change someone’s life. Overall, Bo’s set was a quick but moving show, that had to have influenced a majority of the crowd to dive deeper into what he has out now.

John Vincent III
John Vincent III is a 26 year old artist out of Houston, Texas that has grown tremendously over the past few years. He hadn’t released an album since 2019, but put out a new album, “Songs For The Canyon”, just recently towards the end of 2023. His set included a good mix of old and new songs, allowing for both newer and older fans to sing along the entire set. The loudest part of the show was when John Vincent III played his top song, “Next to You”. The crowd sang along so loud you could barely hear him sing the words himself.
His powerful lyrics and still moving melodies kept you from leaving for a drink or even the bathroom because you didn’t want to miss any part of the set. The show was sold out and the Bluebird was filled all the way through including all the aisles in the venue. John hadn’t been on tour or done a show in a long time, so seeing him do any type of show is a rare treat for his fans and many live music fans all over the world. His personality lit up the room and shone through his music, and you could see that the break he took was good for him.
