One Republic absolutely slaps, let me tell you. I don’t have much to say about this one since I didn’t have a ticket to stay for the whole show. but getting to shoot my first arena show: what a whirlwind of emotions. Having been a fan in the absolute last row of an arena show, way up in the nosebleeds, this is just an honor (all the glory goes to God…and my new friend Rhiannon, for opening this door).
We weren’t able to shoot the first song (which it’s normally the first 3) because at the end they let off confetti cannons (you can see that aftermath in one of the photos below). I was in awe the entire time we were down there (I say we as in me and the other photographers). BUT AHHHHHHHHHHHH. That is the only feeling I have to describe to you what it felt like.
It was hard to concentrate on shooting when I was singing along to those songs. I didn’t realize how many One Republic songs I knew…and I only was there for 4 of them (LOL). Anyways, this post is just to show you the glory of the first 3 songs through the form of my pitchas.
