Sofi Tukker is a Grammy-nominated electronic music duo formed by Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern. The pair met while attending Brown University and quickly discovered a creative synergy that blended Hawley-Weld’s global musical influences with Halpern’s DJ background. Their breakout single “Drinkee” earned a Grammy nomination in 2017 and introduced their infectious fusion of dance, house, and international rhythms to the world.

Sofi Tukker debut album, Treehouse, dropped in 2018 and featured standout tracks like “Best Friend,” which climbed to number one on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. That single also gained mainstream attention after being featured in a global Apple iPhone X commercial. Sofi Tukker followed up with Dancing on the People in 2019 and Wet Tennis in 2022, further cementing their status as genre-defying artists with a bold visual aesthetic and inclusive message.

In 2025, they released their fourth studio album, butter, a vibrant tribute to Brazilian music.
