The Hails made sure to stop in Denver’s Lost Lake Lounge on February 17th, 2023. Foxtide brought their San Diego indie vibes to open the show!
Foxtide
Fronted by Elijah Gibbins-Croft and loaded with a new lineup of Oey James, Dom Friedly and Ian Robles. They are a byproduct of being bred by the beach and raised by a DIY house show scene. The SoCal four-piece was formed around garage jam sessions, & earned their cult following through the intense vitality of their live shows.
Moving into the chapter of their next project, Foxtide is abandoning the idea that they need to create “perfect” music. Simply making what they like to listen to. Tinged with the aloofness of early 2000s rock, while also experimenting with the formulas of modern pop. All knotted in the authenticity behind Foxtide’s unrelenting love for music.

The Hails
Following a string of encounters too strange to be coincidence, Robbie Kingsley, Franco Solari, Dylan McCue, Andre Escobar and Zach Levy came together to form The Hails. Despite first playing in an insular Miami high school music scene, the band officially formed at the University of Florida, turning the tattered carpeting and beer bottle lined shelves of their shitty college house into a distinct, refined sound that is now synonymous with their name. After graduation, the group made the pilgrimage back to their home of Miami, the city that directly influenced the sound of their early shimmering singles Younger and Stay, debut EP He Seems Upset (2020), and the subsequent Alive in Strange Ways (2021).
Receiving praise from the likes of Ones To Watch, American Songwriter, Lyrical Lemonade, Atwood Magazine and others, The Hails went on to hold court at festivals including WonderStruck, Okeechobee and Playground, interspersed between sold-out shows across the state of Florida. Firing the starting pistol of their current chapter, The Hails began rolling out singles from their debut album in October 2022. Now with their debut album What’s Your Motive (2023) out in the world, The Hails will bring their new music to the road on their first ever cross-country headline tour.
