Fazerdaze
Fazerdaze is the musical project of New Zealand singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Amelia Rahayu Murray. Her music blends dreamy, reverb-soaked guitar work with introspective lyrics — genres tied to dream pop, shoegaze, indie pop, and indie rock.
She first released a self-titled EP in 2014, recorded largely in her bedroom studio in Auckland. Her debut full album, Morningside (2017), included the now-viral single “Lucky Girl,” which brought her international attention.
After a period of hiatus driven by burnout and personal challenges, she returned with new material in 2022 (the Break! EP), and in 2024 released her second album, Soft Power.

Spoon
Spoon is an American indie rock band from Austin, Texas, formed in 1993 by lead vocalist and guitarist Britt Daniel and drummer Jim Eno. Known for their minimalist yet dynamic sound, the band blends post-punk, art rock, and alternative rock influences. Early in their career, Spoon gained attention with their debut album Telephono (1996), which introduced their crisp instrumentation and intelligent songwriting. They refined this sound with A Series of Sneaks (1998) and Girls Can Tell (2001), earning critical praise and establishing themselves as a major force in the indie rock scene.

In 2022, Spoon released Lucifer on the Sofa, which earned widespread critical acclaim for its raw energy, introspective lyrics, and inventive arrangements. In 2023, they followed with Lucifer on the Moon, a dub remix of the album that highlighted their experimental side and versatility. Most recently, the band released a double A-side single, “Chateau Blues” and “Guess I’m Fallin in Love,” co-produced with Justin Meldal-Johnsen. These tracks received positive reviews from fans and critics, demonstrating Spoon’s continued relevance and creative growth decades into their career.

Pixies
Formed in 1986 in Boston, Massachusetts, the Pixies are an American alternative rock band renowned for their genre-defying sound. The original lineup featured Black Francis (vocals, rhythm guitar), Joey Santiago (lead guitar), Kim Deal (bass, vocals), and David Lovering (drums). The band quickly became known for their signature “loud-quiet-loud” dynamics, surreal lyrics, and experimental approach that blended punk, surf rock, and noise pop. Their innovative style influenced a generation of artists, from Nirvana to Radiohead, and helped define the alternative rock movement of the late 1980s and 1990s.
Pixies released influential albums including Surfer Rosa (1988) and Doolittle (1989), which received critical acclaim and achieved lasting cultural impact. Bossanova (1990) and Trompe Le Monde (1991) further demonstrated their inventive songwriting and unique sonic identity. Despite their success, internal tensions led to the band’s initial breakup in 1993, leaving a lasting legacy that cemented their place as alternative rock pioneers.
In 2004, Pixies reunited and returned to the stage with renewed energy. They released several new albums, including Indie Cindy (2014), Head Carrier (2016), Beneath the Eyrie (2019), and Doggerel (2022). In 2024, bassist Emma Richardson officially joined the lineup following the departure of Paz Lenchantin. Richardson brought a fresh dynamic to the band, contributing to both live performances and new recordings. The current lineup of Black Francis, Joey Santiago, David Lovering, and Emma Richardson blends veteran experience with revitalized creativity, maintaining the Pixies’ reputation as a powerful live act.
Pixies continued to innovate in 2025 with the release of their ninth studio album, The Night the Zombies Came, which featured a mix of haunting melodies, intricate guitar work, and lyrics exploring both dark and whimsical themes.
