The Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville roared to life on August 11, 2025, as fans packed the venue for an electrifying night of rock. The Struts took the stage with their signature glam-rock swagger, delivering a captivating performance that had the audience on their feet from the first note to the final encore.
The Struts
The Struts formed in Derby, England, in 2012, blending flamboyant glam-rock style with big, stadium-ready choruses. Frontman Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies quickly built a reputation for high-energy performances. The Struts debut album, Everybody Wants, arrived in 2014 in the UK and 2016 in the US, earning critical praise and international attention. The breakout single “Could Have Been Me” became a platinum-certified hit and reached No. 1 on Spotify’s Viral Top 50 chart. Foo Fighters once called them “the best opening band we’ve ever had,” cementing their status as rising rock stars.
The Struts followed with Young & Dangerous in 2018, featuring the hit “Body Talks,” and Strange Days in 2020, which included collaborations with Robbie Williams, Def Leppard, and Albert Hammond Jr. The band’s bold live style and retro-meets-modern sound have won them spots opening for The Rolling Stones, The Who, and Guns N’ Roses. In November 2023, they released Pretty Vicious, an album praised for capturing their live-show energy in the studio. The record delivered fan favorites like “Too Good at Raising Hell” and “Rockstar.”
Recent years have seen The Struts embark on extensive international tours, headlining festivals and selling out venues across North America and Europe. They have surpassed 850 million on-demand streams and built a devoted global fanbase through relentless touring, charismatic performances, and unapologetically glamorous rock-and-roll attitude. With Luke Spiller’s theatrical stage presence and the band’s undeniable chemistry, The Struts continue to prove themselves as one of the most electrifying rock acts of the 21st century.
