On Saturday, July 5, 2025, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, hosted a sold‑out spectacle as Arc De Soleil warmed the crowd with their hypnotic, genre-bending opener, setting a groovy tone for the evening. They kicked things off just after 8 p.m., delivering a blend of surf‑rock, psychedelia, and chillwave before yielding the stage to funk dynamo Vulfpeck. Headlining the night, Vulfpeck launched into a high‑energy set beginning with “Dean Town,” plowing through fan favorites like “1612,” “Cory Wong,” and “Back Pocket,” and even featured special guests including drummer Adam Deitch and vocalist Evangeline.
Arc De Soleil
Arc De Soleil is the instrumental project of Daniel Kadawatha, a Swedish multi-instrumentalist and producer known for his lush, cinematic soundscapes. Drawing from surf rock, funk, psychedelic, and chillwave influences, he creates music that feels both retro and futuristic. Raised on classic acts like The Spotnicks and The Shadows, Kadawatha developed an early fascination with guitar tones, which now serve as the sonic backbone of Arc De Soleil’s dreamy, atmospheric grooves.
Since debuting the project, Arc De Soleil has accumulated over 600 million streams across platforms. His music has been featured in major films, television series, and global ad campaigns, helping to build an international fanbase without ever using vocals. He writes, records, and produces all his tracks, layering crisp guitar riffs, analog synths, and mellow percussion into immersive instrumentals that feel tailor-made for a late-night drive or sunset skyline.
In 2024, Arc De Soleil released the EP Lumin Rain, a shimmering collection of tracks that showcase his signature blend of warmth and introspection. He also launched his “La Mirage” U.S. tour, bringing his live show to a wider audience and translating his studio precision into captivating performances. With new material in the works and a growing presence in both streaming and sync licensing, Arc De Soleil continues to redefine what instrumental music can sound like in the modern era.

Vulfpeck
Vulfpeck is a funk-pop band from Ann Arbor, Michigan, founded in 2011 by Jack Stratton, Theo Katzman, Joe Dart, and Woody Goss. Drawing inspiration from classic session musicians like the Funk Brothers and the Wrecking Crew, the band built a signature sound around tight rhythms, vintage tones, and playful minimalism. Their early EPs—Mit Peck and Fugue State—gained traction online, and by 2014, they made headlines with Sleepify, a silent Spotify album that funded a fan-supported, admission-free tour. Known for their DIY ethos and viral creativity, Vulfpeck grew a loyal following without label backing, eventually selling out Madison Square Garden in 2019 as an entirely independent act.
Over the years, Vulfpeck has collaborated with standout artists like Cory Wong, Antwaun Stanley, Joey Dosik, and Bernard Purdie. Their discography includes fan-favorite albums like Thrill of the Arts, The Beautiful Game, and Mr. Finish Line. In 2022, they returned with Schvitz, a funky, sax-forward album recorded in a steam room, showcasing their offbeat humor and musical precision. Most recently, they released Clarity of Cal in March 2025, recorded live during their California residency shows. With every project and performance, Vulfpeck continues to redefine modern funk by staying unapologetically independent, crowd-focused, and groove-driven.
