herbst
For the German singer-songwriter herbst, born in 2003, making music is like therapy. What means the most to him is when it can be that for his listeners too. herbst’s music is honest and relatable, characterized by vocal intimacy and an acoustic sound.
His classical piano training as a child equipped herbst with two things: musical sensitivity and the melancholy of pianists like Debussy or Chopin. As a teenager, the guitar joined the mix. Inspired by Billie Eilish, he began singing and writing his own songs, finding his genre in German indie music.
herbst released his first single, “gasleuchte,” in June 2024. After its unexpected success, he has since released six more singles as well as his debut album wieder verliebt. In October 2025, the album will be accompanied by his first solo tour. On TikTok and through numerous live performances, he continues to captivate his audience. He is joined on stage by friends on cello and electric guitar, whom he met during his studies.
