Quinn XCII brought The Peoples Tour to Red Rocks Amphitheater on June 6, 2023 in Morrison, CO. Starting out the evening was Julia Wolf, followed by A R I Z O N A to get us ready for Quinn. Read all about it & check out the lovely photos…BELOW!
Julia Wolf
Fresh off playing her own headline show at Meow Wolf, Julia Wolf dominated her set. One of my favorite parts was that she was explaining how someone told her that she’d never make it in music. Well flash forward to this show: she was playing freaking red rocks!!! We love a “prove them wrong” moment. My favorite song she played was “Get Off My” (full lyric is get off my dick). It’s vibey and obviously love the message of leave me alooooooone & let me LIIIIVE.

A R I Z O N A
Mk, I did not realize how HARD this band goes. I’d heard of them and know their song “Freaking Out,” but other than that I had little to no idea what they were all about. First, the guitarist, Nate Esquite, played the entire set without shoes. I’m not sure if this is a regular thing or was just for this show, but I loved the choice. Felt more free. Additionally, the lead singer, Zach Hannah, had an absolute time with his mic stand. What I mean by this is he threw that thing around, held it up, whipped it, and just used and abused it, in the best way. The crowd also seemed to know and vibe to them as if they were the headliner – mad props. I will definitely be checking out their next show when the come through Denver.

Quinn XCII
WOOOOOOOOOOW. Quinn XCII: that’s it, that’s the review. Just kidding, but really though. He puts on a SHOW. One of the things I love about Quinn is his uniqueness to his voice. Really sets his apart from other artists.
Starting out his set, he had a “Jumbotron” type vibe, where there were announcers introducing the show. This then led to each band member getting introduced before making their way on stage (see below gif). This concept was just *chefs kiss*.
His set bursted with so much energy & was joyous to watch. He RAAAAN across that stage like it was nobody’s business. Hype & more hype. The absolute cutest part of the show was when he brought his dad out on stage with him to sing “Believe” by Cher. His dad said some iconic lines: “This is where you work?” (LOL) and “I’m a really really proud dad.” I think I cried. It was so cute to witness and be a part of.

Going along with the theme of the show, there was also a break that allotted time for a KISS CAM! How caaaaauuuuuuute!

I am definitely feeling the post concert depression after this one. Don’t miss out & go see him live, PUH LEASE.
