On April 18, 2025, Denver’s Ogden Theatre hosted a vibrant night of indie rock, headlined by The Moss. The evening began with a performance by Night Cap, setting the stage with their engaging sound. Night Cap
Night Cap is an indie rock band based in Austin, Texas, formed in 2017 by longtime friends and musical collaborators. The group features Ryan King and Jake Bomgaars on vocals and guitar, Alex Alfonso on bass, Adrian Ayala on keys, and Stijn Dobbelaere on drums. Together, they create a rich, layered sound defined by emotional builds, vibrant melodies, and an irresistible sense of nostalgia. Their debut single, “Everest,” quickly gained momentum, earning over 1 million streams and introducing listeners to their heartfelt approach to songwriting.
Since their breakout, Night Cap has built a strong reputation both locally and nationally. They have performed at major festivals such as Austin City Limits and Float Fest, recorded a well-received live session with Audiotree, and supported acts like Mt. Joy, Dayglow, and Briston Maroney. The Moss
The Moss is a rising indie rock band based in Salt Lake City, Utah, originally formed on the shores of Oahu, Hawaii, in 2015. Founding members Tyke James (vocals/guitar) and Addison Sharp (guitar) began their musical journey by performing at local taco stands and beachside venues, crafting a sound that seamlessly blended surf-rock energy with heartfelt indie lyricism. As their chemistry grew, they welcomed drummer Willie Fowler and bassist Caiden Jackson into the fold, rounding out a lineup that brings dynamic rhythms, infectious grooves, and melodic depth to every performance.
The band released their debut album Bryology in 2019, introducing listeners to their signature fusion of vibrant melodies and introspective songwriting.
