WOWEEE!!! Yellowcard brought their tour to Denver on August 8, celebrating their 20th anniversary of “Ocean Avenue.” The show was at Levitt Pavilion, with kick ass opening acts that included Mayday Parade, Anberlin, & This Wild Life, with Emo Night Brooklyn DJ’ing in between each set.

Anberlin is an American alternative rock band formed in Winter Haven, Florida in 2002. Since the beginning of 2007, the band consists of lead vocalist Stephen Christian, guitarists Joseph Milligan and Christian McAlhaney, bassist Deon Rexroat, and drummer Nathan Young.

Mayday Parade
Mayday Parade is an American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida in 2005. They merged from two local Tallahassee bands, Kid Named Chicago and Defining Moment. Their debut EP Tales Told by Dead Friends was released in 2006. It sold over 50,000 copies without any label support. In July 2007, Mayday Parade released their debut album A Lesson in Romantics. They also signed onto a major label with Atlantic Records in 2009. In April 2018, the band signed to Rise Records and released their sixth studio album Sunnyland on June 15, 2018.

Yellowcard
Yellowcard is an American rock band that formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1997. They are primarily a pop-punk group, using a violin in their songs, which creates a distinct sound in this genre. Their best known singles are “Ocean Avenue”, “Only One”, and “Lights and Sounds”. The band has released ten studio albums, with its most recent, Yellowcard, released on September 30, 2016. Following this release and supporting tour, the band broke up. The band reunited in September 2022 for a performance at Riot Fest and are embarking on a 20th-anniversary tour for Ocean Avenue in 2023. A new EP, Childhood Eyes, released on July 21, 2023.
